Kimberly Yee (February 23, 1974), is an American politician and Republican member of the Arizona Senate representing District 20 since January 14, 2013. Yee served consecutively in the Arizona State Legislature from January 10, 2011 to January 14, 2013 in the Arizona House of Representatives District 10 seat. On November 29, 2017, she announced her candidacy for Arizona State Treasurer.
Yee worked for California governors Pete Wilson and Arnold Schwarzenegger. She was then director of communications in the Arizona state treasurer’s office. At the recommendation of Gov. Jan Brewer, Yee was appointed by the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors to replace Republican Rep. Doug Quellan after he was ousted for violating Clean Election Boundaries.
In 2012, Yee introduced HB 2838, a bill that would ban abortions of fetuses over 20 weeks old. While the bill had stalled in committee, Yee used a «catch-all amendment» to reincarnate the proposed legislation as HB 2036. The bill passed the Arizona House and Senate and was enacted on April 12, 2012.

Family obligations present another challenge for Hispanic students. A 2014 National Journal survey found that two-thirds of Hispanic women and men who sought full-time work or joined the military after completing high school said they did so to help their loved ones financially. In comparison, only 39% of white women and men who did not attend college said the same.
However, many schools classify undocumented students as «aliens,» which removes their ability to be eligible for federal financial aid and reduced in-state tuition rates.

Students in the U.S. must be classified as permanent residents before they can receive financial aid. Most immigrants obtain permanent residency by applying for a Green Card, but current laws stipulate that undocumented citizens cannot do that; instead, they must leave the U.S. and apply for permanent residency from the consulate of their home country.

In the first case, we suggest that the answer is «no». The fact that someone uses a wheelchair does not make the aircraft noise more or less irritating. In the second case, the answer is «maybe». If the hiker’s blindness contributed to his being stranded, it is relevant to mention this. If the person’s eyesight had nothing to do with the situation, don’t include it.
It fits the AP style AP also suggests avoiding words such as «abuse» or «problem» in favor of the word «use» with appropriate modifiers such as «risky,» «unhealthy,» «excessive,» or «intensive.» «Misuse» is also acceptable. Do not assume that everyone who misuses substances has an addiction. Avoid «alcoholic,» «addict,» and «drug addict» unless people prefer those terms to refer to themselves or if they come up in quotations or names of organizations, such as Alcoholics Anonymous.
Context: These expressions carry the assumption that a person with a disability suffers or has a reduced quality of life. Not all people with disabilities suffer, are victims, or are afflicted.

Students in postsecondary institutions are protected from discrimination under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
