Barcelona academy of art scholarships
This is the title of Duccio’s contribution to the book entitled ‘Fundamentals of Photography and Architecture’, recently published by Recolectores Urbanos. The agile volume compiles texts by the photographers and professors who participated in the University Extension Course ‘Fundamentals of Architecture and Photography’, held at the Schools of Architecture of Malaga and Seville during the 2015-16 and 2016-17 courses. An interesting collection that brings together different views and visions -sometimes discordant- on the state of the profession of architectural photographer today.
Giving continuity to the initiative launched in 2017 the University of Seville organizes the II Edition of the Expert Course in Photography and Architecture. Enrolled students will also be able to count on this occasion with a workshop on professional architectural photography taught by Duccio on May 15 and 16, 2019.
Invited by the Foundation of the College of Architects of Genoa within the scope of the event ‘Architecture and City’ and within the cycle ‘In the multifaceted present’, on November 16, 2017, Duccio has delivered a lecture entitled ‘architectural photography: seduction and disenchantment’. In the following weeks two other lectures by Ester Armanino and Adrian Paci respectively have completed the Cycle organized by Clelia Tuscano. Framed in a rich program of events organized throughout the months of November and December throughout the city, these conferences also stand out for the space that hosted them: the magnificent ‘Sala del Maggior Consiglio’ of the Palazzo Ducale.
