The elaboration of «liquors» or alcoholic beverages, goes back to the first stages of humanity, but it is really from the Middle Ages , where we find treatises, which explain their elaboration technique, whether motivated by medicinal or aphrodisiac purposes. The technique used and still used for its elaboration consists mainly in the fermentation process.
