Fall is from September and like Spring, which starts in January, they are long semesters that include all subjects and a variety of teachers. Summer semester is shorter and does not have all classes (because many teachers are on vacation). This semester is for those who want to finish the course faster, and it is not mandatory, since many students go back to their cities for vacations.
I started in Fall, I arrived in Boston in September 2004 and the weather was similar to Buenos Aires, I recommend it. Although Spring is also good as a semester, it can be a bit harder to start, coming from South America, because besides the strong culture shock, you also feel a polar cold that can be a bit difficult at the beginning.
