Study mode: All the sessions will be transmitted through the virtual campus for all lecturers and students who are not in Oviedo. Moreover, those who want can attend the classroom at the Faculty of Philosophy (University of Oviedo) where they will be delivered or transmitted when the lecturer participates online.
The degree is aimed at all those who wish to improve their resources and social skills in the field of the encounter between cultures and the processes associated with global change. Thus, the contents are crucial in very diverse professional environments, such as agencies, associations and organizations for cooperation and the defense of human rights; political and social agents; jurists; members of human resources departments in companies; professors and teachers; health personnel; psychologists; professionals in the field of tourism, in all branches of the humanities and social sciences. Graduates will be able to develop social and educational intervention projects in the field of interculturality. It is also aimed at those who wish to broaden their knowledge in this field in order to develop further research work.

Given the interdisciplinary nature of this degree, any graduate, diploma or degree holder interested in occupational risk prevention may apply for admission and, if necessary, enroll.
Thus, after completing the Master’s Degree, students will be qualified to practice the profession of Senior Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention in the three specialties that comprise it: occupational safety, industrial hygiene and ergonomics and applied psychosociology.
In addition, students will be able to carry out studies on working conditions, risks to the health and welfare of workers and the effectiveness of interventions in the field of occupational risk prevention. All this also allows to integrate in the students’ professional activity, responsibility and ethical sense for the application and defense of fundamental rights, promoting equal opportunities, non-discrimination and democratic values.
